When requesting a temporary or part-time position number, an approval email will need to be sent from the requesting department to the college/division leader for approval before being sent to Human Resources msthrsupport@mst.edu for assessment, or fill out this form. The following information will need to be included in the initial email being sent to the college/division leader:
- Expected duration of position
- Explain why filling the position is essential
- What core functions is this position responsible for?
- Funding source (chartfield string)
- Salary information (budgeted salary range)
- Job code
- Department ID (ex. RHUMNRES)
- Who the position reports to and their position number
- Hours per week
Classifications will be processed in the order received. This process can take a few days to several weeks, depending on the type of position.
